Anyone considering devices that include a urethral probe should be very careful. It is easy to damage the urethral lining and cause an infection. The finish must be very smooth, the head very rounded, especially the opening to any hollow tube allowing urine out.
There are many safer options that don't include a urethral probe; and other makers with urethral probes that are well made, often using titanium for the probe itself (as Steelworxx do). Also see http://steelwerksextreme.com/blog/?cat=10 They are NOT cheap, but they are well made. |
