If worn long enough, will the chastity belt permantly numb the penis. Does anyone know of other ways to destroy the nerves in the penis, numbing it for good? (through medicine or other ways) Thanks

wearing the belt long enough without cleaning can cause many problems, causing infections and all sorts of nasty things. While being safe, you can't permantly numb the penis, only reduce sexual drive. Their are surgical ways though to numb the penis permantly, which would be the safest.

AFAIK, the only way to permanently numb the penis
is to sever the nerves to it. There is one pair
of nerves which govern sensitivity in the penis,
and unfortunately, many other areas in the pelvic
region.

If you were to sever these nerves, you would loose
control of the bowels, and I believe you would not
be able to feel much of anything near and around
the hips.

So, in other words, its not a good idea!!

TO: Anonymous on Sat, June 17. (I have a case of "terminal" curiosity.) The nerves to the penis ALSO control the bladder??? Hmmm. Must depend on which nerve.... Are there any nerves that, if cut, would produce complete incontinence of the BLADDER? And how could I get this done? I'm an ABDL.

This to me would be a dream to have my sexual ability removed and also my control of my bladder.
anybody else fell the same way.

Brandy sighs a great sigh... because she knows she's going to share a bunch of stuff about men and brains and their internal sexual hookups.

In the Scientific American (Sc.Am. Aug, 2000, p.70-75, inclusive) there is an article titled "Men's Sexual Circuitry". Ok, guys - I don't want to cause a stampede! - But this is a good, info-packed article.

Wanna know *exactly* how Viagra works? And just what IS apomorphine (brand name: Uprima) and how it works? What your paragigantocellular nucleus is - and where? - betcha never heard of it (don't look at me)!

About why men have a refractory period after sex, and we don't? How often women experience nocturnal arousal - and why - hey, you guys aren't the *only* ones... murrrph! Where your pudendal nerve is and it's relation to your parasympathetic nerve? The microscopic level details of the corpus spongiosum and corpora cavernosa - and why this is important to you? What have serotonin reuptake inhibitors to do with you? And what has the brain to do with all this? - just like we expected (and knew already): it's the most important male sexual organ... almost. It ranks right up there with the spinal column, the penis, and the most *amazing* collection of biochemical transmitters, inhibiters, messengers, and hormones you ever could dream of!

It's just like my mother told me: you guys ARE on `autopilot'...

And in a (totally) unrelated section, Books: Review in pictures, p.90, is a half-page of Wodaabe (an african tribe) men mugging a photograph in a competition of male charm and personality. Its simply falling out of your chair FUNNY! Almost worth the $4.95US price if the magazine alone...

Martin, your needs for general info - (I'm not picking on you, specifically... its just that I really love your term, "terminal curiosity"!) can be solved by a visit to any good college library. If one isn't near you, even a small local library can help with an inter-library loan from one: sometimes even `next-day' service - good libraries will fall all over themselves to help patrons; they LIVE for it!
