The basic shape of the modern day Female Chastity Belts has changed very little since their initial use hundreds of years ago. They still have a waist band, and a front shield which covers the labia with a small slit, or series of holes for the calls of nature. They also still have chains or solid metal which connects the front shield to the rear of the belt, to hold everything into place.

Today's Female Chastity Belts have advanced technically a great deal to include many features to make them more secure and comfortable for long term wear. Beyond security the most important concern is safety and comfort of the wearer. Today's belts are perfectly sanded to ensure no rough burrs, or edges exist in the steel or rivets that hold the belts together.
