Remy's Chastity Tube - A Complete Review

Actually the device in question is not a standard Chastity Belt. Instead it is a Remy Chastity Tube. The device can be purchased through this web site: http://www.chastytube.com/

The device is made primarily of a plastic tube, which has been coated with Plastic Tool Dip. The tube has several holes on the underside and one larger hole on the end which lines up with the urethra on the captive penis. These holes allow for urine and other fluids to pass out of the tube easily.

The ring that holds the tube on is made of rigid metal, and is also coated in Plastic Tool Dip. The ring is bendable, and closes at the top where two small tabs meet. These tabs protrude slightly to allow the end of the tube to slide on, and the lock slides through two holes lined up in the metal band.

The Chastity Tube arrived at my home on 3-21-99, a Saturday.

So far daily for a few (approximately 2-4) hours to test the usability of the Chastity Tube. I don't know how often or when I will wear it after the initial trial period.

Comfort:

9 - The Chastity Tube fits excellently. The ring is a bit tight, but that is my fault because of a poor measuring job. It actually is nice in one respect - the device will never be able to just pull or fall off.

   N/A - The ring around the testicles cannot be moved very much at all.

   9 - The tube is very comfortable. I hardly notice it is there. It only becomes uncomfortable when I attempt to become erect.

   N/A - The locking testicle ring is tight though.

   10 - It is completely comfortable when sitting. I never notice its presence.

   5 - Depends on which way I lay. If I'm laying on my back it is rather uncomfortable. I think this is due to the tightness of the ring. When laying on my stomach or my site, the tube is very noticable, but not uncomfortable.

1. Is strenuous excersize possible while wearing the belt? If so, describe what kinds of excersize.
   
   
   9 - No problems at all with a 25 minute stint on an Elliptical machine followed by crunches and weight lifting.

Security/Concealability:

   No. I have not been able to masturbate at all in the Chastity Tube. Even with a vibrator.

   Not on the penis - on the testicles yes.

1. Can the wearer participate in vaginal heterosexual intercourse while wearing the belt?
   
   
   No way - not possible.

   A small brass padlock, type and maker unknown.

   No.

   I can squeeze a finger tip underneath the locking ring but that is about it. This usually helps if there is a spot where skin is being pinched.

   No - I've tried every way I can think of. Unless the lock is cut off, or the end of the tube is cut off the device is not coming off without the key.

   Yes, cutting off the lock would be painless.

1. Is the belt visible under normal clothing? If so, please describe how visible the belt is.
   
   
   It is not visible even under tight clothing.

   I don't own any - but it probably would be visible under a Speedo or similar bathing suit. For standard swimming truncks or shorts it would be unnoticable.

Sanitation/Hygiene:

1. What features of the belt promote good hygiene?
   
   Lots and lots of holes for urine and other liquids to escape the tube. Also the tube is slightly biggerin diameter than the flacid penis, so shower water can easily get inside the tube.

1. What features of the belt cause hygiene problems?
   
   
   Sweat can build up underneath the locking ring. Antibacterial cream helps to keep the area clean, and it helps to allow the skin to slide around a bit under the locking ring.

1. Can the wearer wear the belt for extended periods (48 hours or more) continuously without hygenic problems?
   
   
   I haven't worn it for over 6 hours at one stretch. But I don't see why it couldn't be used for extended periods without hygiene problems.

   Yes, some extra care is needed to ensure all of the urine has left the tube.

   Yes.

1. Can the wearer shower or bathe while wearing the belt? Does the wearer need to do anything different when showering?
   
   
   Yes. Not much different needs to be done. You just need to ensure that some soap and water gets inside the tube to clean things out.

Construction:

1. What is your general opinion of the quality of the construction of the belt?
   
   
   Very good. Well thought out and constructed device.

One area of improvement would be the locking mechanism. If the ring was easier to lock, and the lock was protected by some kind of hasp guard, then this device would be perfect.

   None.

   Yes. There doesn't appear to be any parts that could wear out.
